UHF Scholar Membership Terms, Conditions & International Disclosure
Empowering Peace, Wellness, Education & Humanitarian Living Effective From: October 2025
1. Purpose & Scope
This document establishes the official Terms, Conditions, and International Disclosure governing participation in the UHF Scholar Membership Program ("Scholar Members") of the Universal Humanity Foundation (UHF) Canada, in affiliation with Universal Global Institute (UGI) Canada, UERT Canada, and related educational and humanitarian entities.
The UHF Scholar Membership is designed for individuals seeking to advance in the fields of peace education, wellness science, holistic development, and humanitarian leadership, integrating global ethics with AI-enhanced learning and professional growth opportunities.
This disclosure applies to all Scholar Members worldwide and defines their rights, responsibilities, privileges, and the scope of services available through both in-person and digital platforms operated or affiliated with UHF Canada.
2. Privacy & Data Protection
UHF Canada is committed to protecting the personal information of all Scholar Members and operates in full compliance with:
- PIPEDA (Canada)
- GDPR (European Union)
- CCPA (California, USA)
- Other recognized international privacy frameworks
Data Use and Protection Principles:
- Personal information is collected strictly for the purpose of registration, communication, academic support, and member service delivery.
- Data will never be sold, traded, or monetized under any circumstances.
- Limited data may be shared with UHF affiliates or academic partners only for educational delivery or certification verification, and always with consent.
- Members may request data access, correction, or deletion at any time by contacting: membership@universalhumanityfoundation.org
3. Nonprofit Nature & Legal Framework
- UHF Canada is a federally registered nonprofit organization governed by Canadian law, operating with international humanitarian alignment.
- All UHF Scholar programs are educational, wellness-oriented, and voluntary in nature, and not-for-profit.
- UHF Canada does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice or treatment.
- All teachings, digital tools, and workshops are intended for personal growth and academic enrichment, not diagnostic or therapeutic application.
- UHF functions as an educational facilitator, not as an accrediting body of professional licensure unless expressly noted through a recognized institutional partnership.
4. Membership Fees, Categories & Duration
Scholar Membership is available under two contribution models:
- 1. Lifetime Membership: One-time contribution ensuring permanent access and benefits.
- 2. Monthly/Annual Membership: Ongoing contribution renewed automatically unless cancelled in writing 30 days before renewal.
Payment & Refund Policy
- All contributions are non-refundable, except in cases of administrative error or breach of nonprofit ethics verified by the UHF Ethics & Membership Committee.
- Membership payments are made in Canadian or U.S. currency via approved nonprofit payment systems.
- All fees directly support UHF's nonprofit educational, wellness, and humanitarian programs.
Upgrades: Members may upgrade from Monthly or Annual to Lifetime Scholar Membership at any time by paying the difference.
5. Member Rights & Access Privileges
All UHF Scholar Members are entitled to access a comprehensive range of educational and humanitarian opportunities designed to support personal, academic, and professional development.
Each member tier (Platinum, Golden, VIP) grants access to:
- Access to UGI Canada online and hybrid educational programs, including AI-integrated learning systems.
- Participation in UHF Canada's digital wellness & peace education platform, featuring curated academic and self-guided content.
- Invitations to monthly Harmony Circles, Humanitarian Summits, and Wellness Retreats.
- Access to AI and life-skills development courses, humanitarian volunteer training, and wellness research resources.
- Eligibility to apply for UHF International Scholar Awards, collaborative projects, and research internships with global partners.
- Eligibility to apply for UHF International Scholar Awards, collaborative projects, and research internships with global partners.
Extended Benefits for Lifetime Scholar Members:
- Lifetime access to all UHF Canada and UGI Canada courses, certifications, and wellness retreats at significantly reduced rates (up to 80% discount) compared to standard market value.
- Continuous participation rights in all future UHF educational and community programs.
- Recognition as a UHF Certified Lifetime Scholar Member in UHF's global directory.
Monthly and annual members will continue to enjoy access to core UHF Scholar benefits at standard market rates, as aligned with nonprofit educational value.
6. Academic Integrity & Certification Disclosure
UHF Canada and UGI Canada maintain strict standards of academic integrity, certification authenticity, and ethical conduct.
- All certificates, digital badges, or credentials issued through UHF Scholar Membership are for educational recognition and non-accredited personal development purposes unless specifically affiliated with a recognized academic partner.
- Unauthorized duplication, resale, or modification of certification materials constitutes a breach of UHF's ethical and legal standards and may result in termination of membership.
- UHF reserves the right to verify academic eligibility, attendance, or participation before awarding certifications or recognitions.
7. Program Access, Content Use & AI Integration
UHF Canada and UGI Canada provide hybrid and online educational platforms that integrate AI-assisted learning, interactive course design, and self-paced study modules.
Conditions of Use:
- Members must use their login credentials exclusively for personal, non-commercial learning.
- Course content, digital materials, and AI-generated resources remain the intellectual property of UHF Canada and its affiliates.
- Members are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or monetizing course content without express written authorization.
- UHF may periodically update or upgrade learning modules to align with technological and academic developments.
UHF encourages ethical use of AI and digital platforms in accordance with the UNESCO AI Ethics Framework and Canadian Privacy and AI Standards (AIDA).
8. Liability, Risk & Disclaimer
Participation in UHF programs is voluntary and intended for personal and academic growth.
UHF Canada, its affiliates, officers, directors, or volunteers are not liable for any:
- Personal health, emotional, or financial outcomes resulting from participation.
- Interpretation or misuse of educational or wellness materials.
- Delay, modification, or cancellation of courses, events, or travel programs due to external circumstances.
Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless UHF Canada and its partners from any claims or disputes arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by UHF.
9. Code of Conduct & Ethical Participation
All UHF Scholar Members are expected to uphold the UHF Global Code of Peace Ethics, which includes:
- Respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory behavior.
- Academic honesty and intellectual integrity in all submissions or discussions.
- No use of UHF platforms for solicitation, harassment, or personal gain.
- Commitment to UHF's values of peace, empathy, collaboration, and community wellbeing.
Violation of these standards may result in suspension or revocation of membership privileges without refund.
10. Accessibility, Inclusion & Non-Discrimination
UHF Canada maintains a commitment to universal access and inclusivity:
- Programs are offered in multiple languages and accessible formats where possible.
- Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
- UHF actively supports participation from youth, seniors, caregivers, newcomers, and underserved populations.
- No one shall be denied participation based on financial capacity, ethnicity, gender, belief, or nationality, within the organizational resources of UHF.
11. Amendments, Updates & Policy Evolution
UHF Canada reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect evolving international laws, nonprofit governance updates, and educational standards.
All material changes will be communicated to active members via official UHF channels and updated on the UHF Membership Portal.
Continued participation following such updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
12. Consent & Member Acknowledgment
By submitting your UHF Scholar Membership application, you hereby confirm that you:
- Have read and fully understood these Terms, Conditions, and International Disclosures.
- Acknowledge the nonprofit, educational, and voluntary nature of all UHF programs.
- Accept personal responsibility for your participation, learning engagement, and interpretation of all materials provided.
- Consent to data handling, communications, and global participation as described under international privacy compliance standards.
- Agree to conduct yourself ethically and respectfully as a member of the UHF global scholar community.
